Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Melisa Zukic to the firm’s New York office as an of counsel attorney in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Banking and Financial Services Practice Groups.
Melisa represents banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions in complex financial services litigation, maximizing beneficial outcomes at the negotiation table and in trial. She has notably obtained favorable decisions on appeal in the First and Second Departments of the New York State Supreme Court’s Appellate Division.
As an advisor, Melisa provides counsel on commercial disputes related to property ownership and lien status as well as on allegations of code violations or complaints filed with the New York State Department of Financial Services, offering clients a clear, actionable path forward at every step.

Melisa completed her bachelor’s degree at Hunter College, then earned her Juris Doctor from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She is fluent in Bosnian.
