Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma co-led two cybersecurity presentations at the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting June 22-23 in Austin, Texas.
First, Shawn joined Heather Hughes of Stroz Friedberg for the session Cybersecurity: Responding to Data Incidents and Breaches. This program was sponsored by the Business Law and Corporate Counsel Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas. The following day, Shawn teamed with Natalia Santiago of McGriff, Seibels and Williams to present Avoiding, Managing and Insuring a Data Breach. This session was sponsored by texasbar.com and the organization’s Computer and Technology Section.
The Annual Meeting allows attendees to network, receive award recognition, and earn CLE credit via timely and relevant sessions led by top industry thought leaders. Held at the JW Marriott, it also includes breakfasts, luncheons, receptions, and exhibits. Ruthie White also presented at this year’s event.
