Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Sarahann Shapiro was recently elected to the Board of the California Business Properties Association (CBPA), beginning this new role in November 2025.
CBPA comprises several leading companies and professional associations in the state to form the largest commercial real estate consortium. Having grown to over 10,000 industry members since its founding in 1972, CBPA serves as the legislative and regulatory advocate for property owners, tenants, developers, retailers, contractors, land use attorneys, brokers, and other stakeholders by representing their interests at the State Capitol and in Washington, D.C. In serving on this organization’s board, Sarahann expands her already considerable civic involvement, which also includes roles within the California Commission on Disability Access and the Building Owners and Managers Association of California.
At the firm, Sarahann maintains a robust practice focused on all aspects of commercial real estate, including both the transactional and litigation sides. She frequently assists clients in buying, selling, leasing, financing, and developing properties, as well as helping clients with litigation related to commercial real estate, including commercial evictions, breach of lease, construction issues, title issues, and tax appeals.
