Spencer Fane attorney Samuel Thomas has received recognition by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) as becoming Board Certified Estate Planning and Probate Law.
Board Certification is awarded to those who meet certain qualification standards and substantial involvement requirements pertinent to the specialty area, including 60 hours of relevant continuing legal education and the passing of a 6-hour comprehensive exam. Out of approximately 110,000 lawyers that are licensed to practice in Texas, only 7,200 are Board Certified, and only 665 are Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
