Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma will present at the upcoming Institute for Law and Technology’s virtual event covering approaches to crisis management of a data breach.
Hosted by The Center for American and International Law, Shawn will participate in a virtual tabletop exercise with a team of conference facilitators to provide a crisis management simulation through a series of scenarios.
Shawn and the panel will explain the importance of having the proper cybersecurity preventative, response, and recovery measures in place. They will also discuss best practices when advising clients that encounter ransomware demands, cyber breaches, privacy incidents, and related litigation.
