Spencer Fane is pleased to announce staff member Nicole Miller was recently named to the 2024 ArtsKC Board of Directors.
ArtsKC is a nonprofit arts council that promotes, supports, and advocates for the arts for the benefit of the Kansas City metropolitan region. As a member of the board, Nicole will further empower the organization’s programs and services to “advance lives through the arts” via promotion, investment, and advocacy. These include the Now Showing program in which Spencer Fane participates. Through this initiative, businesses turn their office spaces into revolving galleries for local visual artists who receive stipends and 100% sale proceeds for participating.
At Spencer Fane, Nicole serves as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, she helps design, plan, implement, and evaluate the firm’s handbook and employee policies in areas such as recruitment and employee relations. Nicole is also an active leader in the community. She is an active board member of the Women’s Employment Network (WEN), a previous board member of the Society for Human Resources Management of Greater Kansas City (SHRM-KC), and a graduate of the Kansas City Tomorrow Class 44.
