Spencer Fane attorney Nick Alman served on the four-judge panel for the TiE U Pitch showcase, a TiE Tampa-hosted event geared toward empowering college and university student entrepreneurs, on April 23.
As a judge, Nick evaluated six student-led startups that presented their ventures and then helped appoint three finalists: Patent-It AI (Winner), Pet HealthCare Innovations (1st Runner-Up), and SYP (2nd Runner-Up). The winners will receive prizes such as a cash reward, ongoing mentorship with a global team, and opportunities to participate at TiECON Tampa and the Debut Labs Incubator Program.
Nick also led an address to the participants discussing his passion for entrepreneurship, why supporting aspiring founders is vital for creating a sustainable future, and how entrepreneurial spirit and the power of collaboration fuel his own success.
