Minneapolis/St Paul Chapter of the Credit and Financial Development Division of the NACM Meeting

May 26, 2021

Spencer Fane attorney Jim Lodoen recently presented as part of the National Association of Credit Management (NACM)’s Credit and Financial Development Division May Meeting.

Discussing COVID-19’s impact on collection strategy in and outside of bankruptcy, Jim covered:

  • Bankruptcy filings by the numbers
  • What is different as a result of COVID-19 and what is the same?
  • How to maximize recoveries and minimize losses
  • The importance to beware of fraud and trust your instincts

“Proven and attentive credit practices will continue to best protect you just as they have in the past,” Jim explained during the presentation. “Often a five minute call to bounce your credit or collection issue of counsel is a good investment. Pro-active is good active.”
