Spencer Fane attorney Michelle Berger was honored to represent the firm at the groundbreaking ceremony for her client Holcim’s Tucson South sand and gravel mine project on October 4 near Brighton, Colorado.
Michelle was invited to the groundbreaking in recognition of her dedicated contribution to the project’s triumphant start. She assisted Holcim in all aspects of project permitting at the state and local levels; as a result, Spencer Fane is proud to watch Tucson South and Holcim’s continued success.
The Tucson South project includes a new sand and gravel mine and reclamation efforts that will benefit the residents of Adams County after mining concludes. With over 2,600 acres of water storage and hundreds of trees and shrubs already planted for planned future open space and recreational trails, the project site exemplifies the Holcim commitment to environmental stewardship.
