Spencer Fane attorney Mary Bacon was recently selected by William S. Boyd School of Law’s Public Interest Law Association for the Silver Staircase award. The award identifies a lifetime achievement in pro bono work, recognizing individuals that have significant accomplishments in Nevada’s legal community.
Mary was nominated by fellow members in the legal field for her dedication to public interest work in Las Vegas, including mentorships, pro-bono work, and activism. Among other activities, Mary volunteers as a legal observer and serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Advocacy Alliance.
“Mary has gone above and beyond… [her] dedication to bettering the lives of her clients, mentees, colleagues, and community is not limited to one organization and truly deserves to be recognized,” the Las Vegas Latino Bar Association wrote.
