Spencer Fane LLP attorney Mary Bacon recently received the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award from The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (LACSN).
According to LACSN, “This prestigious award recognizes an attorney whose life and practice over the past year serves as a singular inspiration to others to embrace or renew a dedication to volunteerism on behalf of our most vulnerable clients in need.”
Mary was recognized for volunteering over 220 hours of pro bono services helping clients and participating in several Ask-A-Lawyer sessions. A video commemorating this achievement can be viewed here.

LACSN helps provide legal services for over 100,000 people in Las Vegas who are often forgotten and cannot obtain help in any other way. The Pro Bono Project coordinates private attorneys who generously volunteer to provide free legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford an attorney.
