Spencer Fane attorney Kunal Shah will present at the Texoma HR Legal Symposium on August 2 in Sherman, Texas.
His breakout session will focus on noncompete agreements, the majority of which may be banned via a recently finalized Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rule that is scheduled go into effect on September 4, pending legal challenges. Kunal will provide an overview of the new regulation, the status of legal challenges to the rule, and provide compliance tips to employers.
The Symposium will also include presentations on the legality of AI, workplace bullying, and neurodiversity; provide lunch; and offer networking opportunities.
At Spencer Fane, Kunal provides clients with collaborative and proactive counsel, helping identify and avoid legal exposure while simultaneously best positioning them to successfully resolve litigious matters in an efficient and cost-effective manner. In addition to litigation, he regularly presents on timely labor and employment topics and provides critical guidance on matters such as employment, discrimination, harassment, and accommodation and related reporting procedures.
