Spencer Fane attorney Kersten Holzhueter was recently honored with Missouri Lawyers Media’s 2020 Up & Coming Law Firm Leader Award as an early-career lawyer who holds an important leadership position within the firm.
“The annual Up & Coming awards celebrate outstanding legal professionals who are 40 or younger or who are within their first 10 years of practice,” according to Missouri Lawyers Media. “Honorees have demonstrated professional accomplishment, skill and leadership beyond their years, as well as extraordinary commitment to their communities through volunteer service and leadership.”
Kersten was recognized for her involvement as a Practice Group Leader of the Spencer Fane Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. Her litigation work focuses on the financial services industry—representing banks, loan servicers, bond trustees, and debt collectors in prosecuting and defending a wide-range of claims. She has also utilized this experience to counsel clients on best practices for avoiding litigation.
