Spencer Fane attorney Kersten Holzhueter was recently named to the Kansas City Business Journal (KCBJ)’s 2024 list of 20 to Know: Legal Services.
Replacing the publication’s Power 100 lists, this new series aims to introduce the business community to leaders in key industries and categories. Honorees are chosen based on their breadth of talent and showcased as pivotal people for Kansas City metro professionals to have in their network.
At Spencer Fane, Kersten co-leads the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. As a full-service litigator for financial services companies, she defends a wide range of claims asserted against financial institutions, including class actions. These cases typically relate to consumer protection statutes, credit reporting, deposit account terms and conditions, bank fees, loan agreements, guaranties, forged and altered items, and defaulted municipal bonds. Her successful work on behalf of her clients recently earned Kersten the Legal Champion Award from Missouri Lawyers Media.
