In this recap of his CFO of the Year panel discussion, Allen and his fellow honorees discussed the benefits and challenges of leveraging AI tools for everyday business operations. He highlighted the importance of financial prudence and also emphasized storytelling as a needed skill for business leaders.
Even with AI tools, CFOs and financial executives should be able to “interpret the results and communicate them to different audiences,” Allen noted.
Allen leads the firm’s financial strategy and oversees core financial activities. He works closely with other Spencer Fane leadership to support profitability, strengthen financial controls, streamline processes and procedures, and guide strategic decision‑making and long‑term growth initiatives.
