Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Allyson Crowder to the firm’s Kansas City, Missouri, office as an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group.
Allyson concentrates her practice on a wide range of labor and employment law disputes, vigorously representing employers throughout all phases of litigation. Her broad experience includes resolving lawsuits related to employment discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination both in and out of the courtroom. While earning her Juris Doctor, she worked for an affirmative action and human resource compliance consulting company, experience which now lends itself to a more comprehensive view of potential risks employers should prepare for when navigating employee disputes.
Outside of her private practice, Allyson has served as a featured speaker at the Kansas City Regional Employer Conference for the past two years, covering emerging industry topics such as identifying evidence fabricated by artificial intelligence and managing whistleblower complaints.
“Spencer Fane has enjoyed a strong start to 2026 – significantly expanding our presence in strategic locations in the Northeast and South – and we are equally excited to continue to welcome intentional lateral hires throughout our established offices,” said Julia M. Vander Weele, office managing partner for Spencer Fane in Kansas City. “We look forward to Allyson joining our team in Kansas City, where she will contribute fresh insights and grow her practice among incredible talent here as well as across the Labor and Employment Practice Group’s national footprint.”
Allyson completed her bachelor’s degree at Kansas State University, then earned her Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law. She is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas.
