Titled “Employer Health Plans Soon Must Pay for At-Home COVID-19 Tests,” the article discusses the recently announced federal “nine-point action plan” to make over-the-counter COVID-19 tests more affordable and its potential impact on employer health plans. Julia weighed in on ongoing vaccine and treatment coverage.
“[S]ome employers initially expanded the 100 percent cost-sharing provisions to treatment of the illness itself,” Julia explained in the article. “However, given the broad availability of the vaccine, some of those same employers have now decided to terminate the more generous coverage provisions.”
