Spencer Fane attorney Jose Castro recently donated to and organized other individual donations from Spencer Fane’s Denver office to the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado’s annual Associates Campaign, which helps raise funds for Colorado Legal Services (CLS), a statewide legal aid program.
“I give because I am a big believer in making our legal system accessible to all those who need it,” Jose shared. “The rule of law relies on everyone having access, not just those with resources.”
The Associates Campaign is a friendly competition among law firms in the Colorado market. Every March, this campaign helps Coloradans experiencing crises such as domestic abuse or homelessness by ensuring they get the legal help they need to achieve safety and stability. The competition is organized and run by the associates at participating law firms. Funding causes such as this is just one of the ways attorneys at Spencer Fane work to build relationships, drive local development, and realize opportunities to make a positive impact on the communities in which we work and live.
