Spencer Fane attorney John Mowbray will be honored at the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada Dessert Before Dinner gala at the Wynn Resort on September 9 in Las Vegas. This year marks the first time two men will be recognized as honorees for their contributions to the advancement of women and girls.
John will be presented with the Man Enough to be a Girl Scout badge alongside Jack Hanifan for their impactful work with the Frias Legacy, a college scholarship program for students in financial need. The gala will also recognize seven other honorees, feature a Las Vegas Strip pastry chef competition with a goal to raise $800,000 to benefit the Girl Scouts.
At Spencer Fane, John – a distinguished second-generation member of Nevada’s legal community, and past president of the State Bar of Nevada – concentrates his practice on commercial litigation as well as real estate and ethics and professional responsibility. He also serves as Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Las Vegas office.
