Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Jacob Hollars has been named to the recently launched Appellate Skills Development Subcommittee for the DRI Center for Law and Public Policy.
The Center serves as the advocacy arm of DRI, with the Amicus Committee working to file amicus curiae briefs in carefully selected cases that present issues of extraordinary importance to civil litigation defense lawyers, their clients, and the civil justice system. As a subgroup of the Amicus Committee, the Appellate Skills Development Subcommittee will engage and involve appellate attorneys interested in further honing their skills, growing their professional networks, and potentially earning credit toward specialist certification. Jacob and his fellow members will prepare pro bono amicus briefs in conjunction with and at the request of state and local defense organizations under the guidance of mentoring attorneys.
At Spencer Fane, Jacob is a trial and appellate lawyer specializing in employment issues, real estate, special district, and commercial matters. He represents clients through all phases of litigation on a wide variety of matters in both state and federal courts.
