Titled “Fluctuating Laws: DOL Announces Proposed Fluctuating Workweek Regulations,” the article outlines the Department of Labor’s proposed rule and how it may impact employers.
“Employers who utilize the fluctuating workweek method of calculating overtime should pay close attention to the progress of the rule,” Helen explained in the article. “If the rule becomes final, employers using this method may wish to modify existing agreements with employees by providing bonuses or other non-discretionary incentive compensation.”
