Established, Highly Regarded IP Litigator Joins Spencer Fane in Growing New York Office

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Philippe Bennett to the firm’s New York office as an of counsel attorney in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group, where he brings broad litigation and transactional experience.

Philippe is a highly respected and successful client advocate with deep patent litigation experience in high-stakes and technically complex IP matters nationally and internationally. He has litigated across a broad spectrum of industries, including financial trading, medical devices, drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Over the years, Philippe has been recognized repeatedly by peers and several prominent legal publications for his success as a tenacious advocate and strategic negotiator.

Philippe’s extensive educational accomplishments include earning his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Harvard University, Juris Doctor from Hofstra University, Master of Business Administration from Fordham University, and Master of Laws in trial advocacy from Temple University.

A recognized thought leader, Philippe has lectured on patent law at Stevens Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Fordham University, The Cooper Union, the Institute of Intellectual Property in Tokyo, BioTechnica in Hannover, Germany, and the China IP Summit. He is notably fluent in French and has counseled several of France’s leading companies.
