Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Erick Robinson earned a 2023-2024 Excellence in Diversity Award from the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association (HIPLA).
Every year, HIPLA recognizes 2-3 professionals and/or organizations who are making an impact in their organization and the Houston-area IP community by significantly advancing diversity and inclusion efforts. Erick was formally recognized at HIPLA’s Annual Dinner Honoring the Federal Judiciary on February 15 for his dedication to building and maintaining a diverse patent litigation team at Spencer Fane.
“This is my team’s award, not mine,” Erick shared. “I am so proud to be part of an excellent practice that honors diversity and inclusion.”
At Spencer Fane, Erick co-chairs the Intellectual Property Practice Group. He manages and tries “bet-the-business” patent cases for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to sole inventors. He fiercely protects his clients’ patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property while serving as a frequently sought-out thought leader for industry publications and organizations.
