During the session, Decision Time: Second Circuit Allows Controversial Nonconsensual Third-Party Releases in Purdue Pharma Chapter 11 Plan, Eric will discuss the case with Prof. Ralph Brubaker (University of Illinois College of Law), Prof. Melissa Jacoby (University of North Carolina School of Law), Karen Cordry (National Association of Attorneys General), and Candice Kline (Saul Ewing). They will educate about the circuit’s position, examine the impact of the decision on mass tort practice and venue selection, and weigh the potential for Supreme Court review.
