Spencer Fane attorney Eric Peterson recently helped launched the Commercial Receivers Association (CRA), an organization focused on providing education, networking, and resources for the commercial receivership industry.
As Board President of this organization, Eric is a leader in upholding the mission of empowering the education and standardization of commercial receivership administration while providing education, networking, and practical resources for members.
In the first CRA newsletter, Eric explained that “CRA’s goal is to create a community where professionals can benefit from the experiences of one another, can network and can steer the development of receivership practice in states across the country in order to maximize the value of this very necessary legal tool.”
Amongst many inaugural efforts for this national association, Eric co-presented multiple virtual presentations, providing insight on Colorado, Missouri, and Texas commercial receiver statutes. The CRA was also featured in a St. Louis Business Journal article which covered the association and the story behind its inception and Eric’s contribution.
