Spencer Fane attorney Eric Johnson will speak at the Second Annual Mark G. Stingley Insolvency Symposium on February 25 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law.
The UMKC School of Law hosts this educational event alongside the American College of Bankruptcy and the organization for which Eric was just named president, the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association. Offering both virtual and in-person attendance options, the Symposium will feature three CLE sessions on significant bankruptcy topics and feature the insights of leading industry professionals such as attorneys and judges. Eric will join the first CLE panel, Good Faith/Bad Faith Issues in Bankruptcy.
At Spencer Fane, Eric is a key member of the Banking and Financial Services and Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’ Rights practice groups. Over the course of his 20-plus-year career, he has represented almost every constituency in insolvency proceedings, including trustees, receivers, secured lenders, debtors in possession, buyers of distressed assets, creditors’ committees, trade creditors, landlords, and defendants in insolvency related litigation.
