Spencer Fane attorney Eric Johnson recently served as a moderator for a panel at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) Annual Winter Leadership Conference on December 9 in La Quinta, California.
The panel, Everything Equipment: How to Value, Finance and Liquidate Types of Equipment, and Restructuring Methods, provided an overview of different types of equipment and common valuation methods for them, various techniques and best practices for marketing equipment, and unique bankruptcy issues related to equipment. Panelists included K. Kevin Otus, Onyx Asset Advisors; Jennifer Rabinowitz, Ritchie Bros.; and Wayne P. Weitz, B. Riley Advisory Services.
The annual program featured topics designed for consumer and business insolvency practitioners, as well as financial advisors.
