Spencer Fane attorney Ellen E. Stewart served as a featured speaker for the HFMA 2022 Eastern Regional Conference, an event hosted by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)’s North Carolina Chapter, on November 15 in Asheville, North Carolina.

And That’s Just the Beginning — Ellen joined Parker Hudson’s Tracy Field for a discussion on regulatory changes placed upon the provider community in recent years. They covered legal issues such as surprise billing, transparency, consumer protection, HIPAA, and more.
The HFMA is a professional organization for individuals involved in financial, operation, and strategic management of healthcare delivery. As part of its North Carolina Chapter’s vision “to be an indispensable professional resource for healthcare financial managers,” it hosted the Conference as an educational and networking opportunity for attendees. The Conference took place from November 13-16 at the historic Omni Grove Park Inn.
