Missouri Lawyers Media recently published a profile on Spencer Fane attorney Elizabeth Fast following her 2025 ICON Awards honor. The ICON Awards recognize distinguished attorneys aged 60 or older who have demonstrated notable, sustained success and strong leadership within and outside the field of law.
Prior to her retirement in December 2024, Elizabeth counseled banks, financial institutions, and other financial service companies based on her extensive in-house and private practice experience. Over her 40-year career, she steadily curated a well-deserved reputation and prominent voice locally, regionally, and nationally on transactional and financial legal, regulatory and compliance matters. The last 27 years of her career were with Spencer Fane where she served as the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group Leader for 12 years.
The feature also highlighted some of Elizabeth’s other impressive career achievements, such as authoring a volume of Thomson Reuters’ Missouri Practice Series and receiving gubernatorial and mayoral appointments in Kansas City.
