Spencer Fane attorney Eric Van Horn recently co-moderated a discussion hosted by the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA). The webinar entitled: “Reflections of and Lessons Learned by Award Winning Bankruptcy Judges” focused on the experiences of current and former bankruptcy judges.
The panel featured the three most recent winners of the American Inns of Court, Bankruptcy Inn Alliance Distinguished Service Award: Hon. Joan N. Feeney (Bankruptcy, District of Massachusetts – retired), Judith K. Fitzgerald (Bankruptcy, Western District of Pennsylvania – retired), and the Hon. Harlin D. Hale (Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas).
As a co-moderator, Eric guided the panel discussion, which included how courts and administration of cases have transformed throughout the years, ethical and practical advice for experienced and young lawyers, and ways to improve the bankruptcy field.
