Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney David E. Waters was named President of the Kansas Mayors Association (KMA) on April 14. This role follows David’s 2022 stint as KMA’s First Vice President.
David, who has been Mayor of the city of Westwood, Kansas since 2020, was elected to this new position at the KMA Conference and Leadership Summit in Hays, Kansas. The event was hosted by the League of Kansas Municipalities.
The KMA serves as a resource for mayors that help its members better serve their municipalities and promote excellence in local government. KMA offers a unique opportunity to network and exchange information with mayors across the state.
