September 12, 2022

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Chase Fann has joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group as an associate in the firm’s Nashville office. Fann is transitioning to Spencer Fane from his family’s law firm, Waldron Fann & Parsley, in Murfreesboro.

Fann provides representation for clients to address the full range of litigation risks a business might encounter. He has experience in business, commercial litigations, contracts, criminal defense, employment, and entertainment matters, and this unique exposure to such a wide range of practice areas allows him to be involved as lead or co-counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts across Tennessee.

As a trial litigator, Fann navigates evolving variables and creatively advances his clients’ positions through written and oral arguments in motions, bench trials, and jury trials. He also handles matters at the appellate level.

“Chase brings the ability to not only find successful and efficient resolutions to complex matters but also to provide pre-litigation counseling, assess difficult circumstances, and assist in the implementation of preemptive legal solutions,” said Charles Robert Bone, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane Bone McAllester in Nashville. “Chase’s experience in Rutherford County and across Middle Tennessee will help us continue to serve the needs of clients throughout the Middle Tennessee region. We have continued to pursue strategic growth that helps us provide the resources to handle the full range of needs for our clients, and Chase brings a proven track record of understanding the business of his clients in a manner that helps him achieve favorable legal outcomes.”

Fann completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee before earning his Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. Prior to entering private practice, he served as an extern for the Hon. John T. Fowlkes, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and an intern for the Davidson County District Attorney General’s Office and the Hon. Julia S. Gibbons in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
