Spencer Fane attorney Charles Robert Bone was recently voted one of Nashville’s most powerful people per Power Poll, a media platform committed to civic engagement. The top 10 included political, business, and other influential leaders from across the city, with Charles Robert coming in at number seven following the accrual of more than 10,000 votes from Power Poll members in a digital survey.
Charles Robert’s feature included his 2015 run for city mayor, in which he gained a reputation for his deliberate, engaging responses to constituents’ questions, whether impactfully concise or thoroughly fleshed out in his delivery. Power Poll also highlighted Charles Robert’s deep roots in social justice initiatives, explaining, “You can draw a line from the lunch counters of 1960s Nashville directly into the forces that live and breathe in his firm’s conference room.”
Power Poll was founded in Nashville in 2019 to increase civic participation, especially among influential community leaders, in discussions related to critical issues and topical initiatives. The results of the polls, surveys, and conversations are published to guide collaborative solutions aligned with citizens’ interests.
At the firm, Charles Robert is the Nashville Office Managing Partner and advises emerging businesses, entrepreneurs, officers and directors, and governmental entities on matters pertaining to economic and real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Outside of his practice, Charles Robert is heavily involved in progressive community initiatives serving Nashville.
