Spencer Fane attorney Ayesha Mehdi accepted an invitation to judge the Mrs. World 2023 pageant, which took place January 19-21 in Las Vegas.
Mrs. World, originally known as Mrs. Woman of the World, began in 1984. It is the first and biggest pageant for married women. Ayesha and her fellow judges helped crown Mrs. Germany, Julia Schnelle, as this year’s pageant winner from among 38 other women.
At Spencer Fane, Ayesha collaborates closely with health care providers and professionals, as well as closely held businesses, to provide legal guidance on various corporate, regulatory, and licensure matters. She serves as outside counsel to her clients, helping them achieve their objectives in areas such as physician employment, recruitment, mergers & acquisitions, and joint ventures. Additionally, Ayesha offers solutions for handling professional board complaints, reimbursement issues, and corporate compliance to ensure her clients’ success.
Ayesha is also deeply committed to her community, as evidenced through various involvements that include pro bono representation. She serves on her law school’s Board of Governors, has received the Women Inspiring Nevada Award, and has been recognized as one of Vegas’ top lawyers by Vegas Inc. and Real Vegas magazine.
