Spencer Fane attorney Ayesha Mehdi was recently featured in a TV news story for 8 News Now Las Vegas about the rights businesses have when asking a customer for proof of vaccination.
The segment discussed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s most recent mask guidance for fully vaccinated individuals. Because of the recent change, Ayesha weighed in on the options businesses in the Las Vegas Valley area have when asking patrons for proof of vaccination.
“It’s well within their rights [in Nevada],” Ayesha explained to 8 News Now Las Vegas. “If you are asking for that health information, just be sure that you do follow state identity theft laws and privacy laws.”
