Spencer Fane attorney Andy Anderson was recently appointed as Chair to the Business Law Executive Council for the State Bar of Arizona.
In this leadership position, Andy will work with the council to uphold the State Bar of Arizona’s mission “to serve and protect the public with respect to the provision of legal services and access to justice.” Andy will lead the Business Law section’s efforts “to further the development of that field of the law and all its branches to cooperate in obtaining uniformity with respect to both legislation and administration in all matters within this field.” Andy’s role includes helping to educate the members of the Bar and the public on new developments and problems in business law by providing access to thought leadership content and events.
At Spencer Fane, Andy helps clients, from negotiation to closing, in corporate transactions such as debt and equity financings and mergers and acquisitions, allowing them to execute with purpose and speed. He also regularly advises clients in joint ventures on issues of limited liability company and partnership law. Andy recently served on the subcommittee of the State Bar of Arizona that drafted the Arizona Limited Liability Company Act and is a leader in both his practice and community.
