Aaron Dean Leads Construction and Contract Law Presentations Across Several Industry Events

Throughout January and February 2026, Spencer Fane attorney Aaron Dean led several construction law-focused presentations – with more speaking engagements coming this March and May – that emphasize his position as a construction law thought leader in the North Central U.S.

On January 28, Aaron presented a session at the DIGIN Midwest Leadership Seminar. Harnessing his wealth of legal experience, he shared with underground utility construction professionals insights on construction contract terms, payment remedies, and OSHA defense/handling OSHA inspections.

On February 2, Aaron was invited to speak to the National Electrical Contractors Association regarding statutory payment remedies for contractors and important construction contract terms.

On February 3, Aaron was invited by the Associated Builders and Contractors to provide a presentation regarding “Handling OSHA Inspections.”

On February 10, Aaron was invited by the Associated Builders and Contractors to provide a presentation regarding “Important Construction Contract Terms.” 

On February 13, Aaron continued his ongoing collaboration with the Minnesota Subcontractors Association by presenting the last in a four-session course on construction contracts. Topics covered included dispute resolution, defaults, termination, waiver of contract rights and remedies, and limitations of liability.

On February 17, Aaron was invited by the Northwest Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) to speak at its Professional Development Conference with 150+ registered safety professionals from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin. His presentation related to handling OSHA inspections, empowering employees to embrace a company’s safety culture, and protecting a company’s safety record.

On March 12, Aaron will speak to the Minnesota Subcontractors Association regarding 2026 legislative initiatives, pending legislation, and payment remedies available for Minnesota subcontractors who work on private and public construction projects.

On May 6, Aaron will join the Minnesota Safety Council’s Annual Meeting to explain how Minnesota companies must be aware of recent OSHA initiatives, recent changes in Minnesota law regarding MnOSHA as a State OSHA Plan, and empowering employees to embrace a culture of safety.

On May 7, Aaron will present to the North Dakota Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association regarding statutory and contract remedies available to general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers who work on North Dakota and Minnesota public and private construction projects.
