Spencer Fane attorney Cody Faulk recently presented at the 2022 University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) Real Estate Symposium where he spoke about lessons and policies from the fast-growing Central Texas area that are relevant to Kansas City metro businesses.
As a panelist, Cody discussed creative funding of infrastructure through public and private partnerships, including recent developments, ways that funds are allocated, and best practices for creating a successful partnership. The panel included perspectives from Missouri, Kansas, and Texas.
In his practice, Cody has extensive experience representing and defending local municipality, utility, and semi-governmental entity clients in a wide range of matters, including regulatory enforcement and permitting, Open Meetings Act and Public Information Act compliance, land use regulation, and litigation in Texas state courts. He works to keep clients ahead of the curve as they efficiently grow and expand operations and uses his strong relationships with municipalities and other government entities to create effective collaboration between key stakeholders that advances clients’ objectives and business interests.
