Spencer Fane is thrilled to announce that its Operations Team has been named a finalist for Best Business Team at The American Lawyer’s 2026 Industry Awards.
The annual awards recognize outstanding achievements and contributions by individuals, law firms, and legal departments across the legal profession. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony November 12 in New York City.
The recognition highlights the firmwide collaboration that has helped Spencer Fane successfully integrate new attorneys, teams, and firms while continuing its industry-leading growth. Led by Chief Operating Officer Scott Breeding, the Operations Team brings together professionals from accounting, information technology, conflicts, facilities, human resources, marketing, and business development.
The Operation Team’s highly coordinated approach establishes clear accountability across departments, from analyzing client relationships and migrating technology systems to aligning benefits, financial processes, branding, communications, and physical office operations. Team members also travel to new offices and markets to support each combination and prepare professionals for a successful transition.
During a six-month period in 2026, the team supported three firm combinations involving Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe, Global IP, and Conner & Winters.
