Spencer Fane attorney Helen Holden will present at AZ HR Hub’s 2026 Employment Law Update on October 8 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This session will focus on workplace disability, religious, and pregnancy accommodations, including the requirements and practical considerations employers should understand when responding to disabilities; religious beliefs and practices; and pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions. It will also include accommodation requests. The discussion will also explore how employers’ use of AI and other automated tools may affect accommodation obligations and decision-making, compliance, and risk in these areas. HR professionals, leaders, and business owners will gain practical guidance for evaluating requests and navigating the accommodation process thoughtfully and lawfully.
At Spencer Fane, Helen co-chairs the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. In addition to this leadership role, she helps businesses successfully navigate federal and state employment laws to positively impact company culture. Helen’s diverse industry experience and focus on management-side employment law spans construction, real estate, manufacturing, technology, health care, distribution, and the retail and service sectors.
