Following his recognition as a 2026 Kansas City Business Journal CFO of the Year honoree, Spencer Fane Chief Financial Officer Allen Voor Vart attended the publication’s July 30 awards event. He was recognized as one of the region’s top financial leaders, contributed to a panel discussion, and was featured in a published KCBJ profile.
During the awards luncheon held at Loews Kansas City Hotel, Allen joined three fellow honorees as program panelists. He highlighted the firm’s industry-recognized growth trajectory and offered his perspective on talent development and emerging business trends such as AI use.
In his CFO of the Year Q&A, Allen shared a few of his personal interests and further reflected on the success he has helped realize at Spencer Fane. He noted teamwork as an essential component for accomplishments such as the firm’s outstanding marks in client satisfaction.
“In our client feedback survey, the firm achieved a Net Promoter Score of 88, which is considered by client experience professionals as ‘world class’ in an industry that typically scores closer to 25,” he said.
Allen leads the firm’s financial strategy and oversees core financial activities. He works closely with other Spencer Fane leadership to support profitability, strengthen financial controls, streamline processes and procedures, and guide strategic decision‑making and long‑term growth initiatives.
