Robyn Nordin Stowell Earns BoardRoom Influential Women Honor

July 10, 2026

Spencer Fane attorney Robyn Nordin Stowell has been named one of BoardRoom magazine’s 2026 Influential Women Leading the Future of Private Clubs.

This feature highlights 30 female professionals whose mentorship, leadership, and innovation continue to make measurable impacts for their clients and the overall private club industry. In her honoree profile, Robyn shared her excitement for expanded opportunities for women in the private club sphere and how mentorship continues to define her leadership journey.

“While opportunity often comes after hard work and demonstrated skills, it is not always clear which opportunities should be pursued,” she said. “Because I benefited from the confidence and support of mentors and industry leaders, I now intentionally look for ways to pay that forward by helping others step into their new roles, embrace stretch opportunities, and grow with guidance and support, just as others once did for me.”

At Spencer Fane, Robyn harnesses nationally recognized and extensive experience to assist private clubs, golf resorts, nonprofit entities, developers, borrowers, lenders, and member groups on a variety of transactions involving private clubs, golf, spa, retail, fitness, and residential community assets. She advises clients on club turnovers; equity conversions; the purchase, sale, and financing of golf and resort assets; structuring member-financed renovation and expansion programs; contract negotiations; member disciple; and corporate governance.
