Spencer Fane IP partner Daniel Hwang led a Trademark Updates presentation for the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Corporate Practice Committee Brown Bag webinar on June 16.
Daniel – an AIPLA member – provided a practical introduction demonstrating current USPTO trademark tools. He explored key concepts such as distinctiveness and enforcement strategies and how to create a cohesive, business-aligned trademark portfolio across the U.S. and beyond.
At the firm, Daniel is an IP counselor providing guidance throughout the life cycle of intellectual property rights – from development strategy through dispute preparation, risk management, enforcement, and litigation. He enjoys advising clients on how to develop, secure, and protect core IP, drawing on broad subject matter exposure and work experience.
