Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Kaylee Vanstory to the firm’s Plano, Texas, office as an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Kaylee’s focus areas span commercial litigation, noncompete agreements and trade secrets, intellectual property matters, business and partnership disputes, and other general business torts. A discerning business litigator, she balances immediate organizational interests with financial and reputational preservation for long-term success.
Even as an early-career attorney, Kaylee has tried multiple jury trials to verdict alongside her colleagues.
“Kaylee has the extreme focus and natural passion for litigation that will be wonderful to continue to cultivate within our firm’s largest practice group,” said Shawn Tuma, office managing partner for Spencer Fane in Plano, Texas. “We look forward to supporting her with our national bank of resources as we also gain new insights from her fresh perspective.”
After completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas, Kaylee earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law – one of the youngest in the university’s history after graduating from both high school and college early.
Prior to entering private practice, Kaylee completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th Civil District Court for Dallas County (Texas).
