Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Grace Benitone Burnett to the firm’s Nashville, Tennessee, office as an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
Benitone Burnett represents businesses and insurance companies in a wide variety of litigation matters with a focus on insurance defense and torts. Well versed in high-exposure and complex casework, she helps develop comprehensive strategies that preserve clients’ core financial and operational objectives and public images.

Benitone Burnett serves as the 2026 Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) and American Bar Association liaison for the Nashville Bar Association (NBA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Board, is the District 8 Representative for the TBA’s YLD Board, and will serve as the 2026 Summer Meeting Chair and Bench / Bar Committee member for the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association (TDLA), in addition to other notable involvements.
After completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Benitone Burnett earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law. Prior to graduating law school, she completed the TBA’s Diversity Leadership Institute and was recently recognized as the “Star of the Quarter” within its YLD. This is in addition to being honored with the NBA YLD President’s Award and the TDLA’s Rising Star Award in 2025.
