Spencer Fane was pleased to be a sponsor for the Texas General Counsel Forum’s 2026 Advanced Leadership Institute on April 14-15 in Dallas, Texas. Attorneys Jason Cross and Shawn Tuma represented the firm at the event.
Held at the SMU Cox School of Business, this innovative two-day program facilitates high-level business development for general counsel. Its interactive sessions provide 12.5 hours of CLE credit that allow attendees to hone their business strategy, decision-making, and leadership skills.
This year’s Advanced Leadership Institute focused on agile leadership and current economic factors affecting the business world. While the Agile Leadership: Peak Performance in a Changing Legal and Business Environment session provided a roadmap for legal leaders to adeptly navigate rapid change and unexpected challenges, the second session – Macroeconomics, Uncertainty & Strategic Decision-Making: A Global View for Legal Leaders – helped translate complex economic data into practical strategic insights for risk assessment, resource allocation, and critical business decisions.
