Matthew Carroll
Overview
Matt Carroll is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Business Transactions Group, concentrating on a variety of transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, venture/growth capital financings, joint venture relationships, capital markets transactions, recapitalizations and other commercial transactions for a broad range of clients including advising private equity and growth capital funds and their related portfolio companies and investments, independent sponsors, family offices, strategic acquirers, founders, entrepreneurs and management teams. Matt also advises senior executives in connection with liquidity events and rollover transactions, including negotiating employment and equity arrangements, as well as ongoing day-to-day governance matters.
He has advised on transactions across a wide range of industries, including technology and software, professional and financial services, health care and life sciences, consumer products, apparel, food and beverage, hospitality, industrials, entertainment, media and marketing services, business consulting, entertainment and real estate-adjacent operating businesses.
