Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma co-led a session at the TexasBarCLE’s 19th annual Advanced Real Estate Strategies Course on December 11, 2025 in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Held in-person over two days, the educational program provided up to 10.5 hours of MCLE credit to attendees. Shawn joined Peter S. Vogel of VOGEL IT Law for the presentation, Strategies for the Ethical Incorporation of Technology in Your Practice – Part 1: What is AI? The presentation explained the ins and outs of artificial intelligence, setting the stage for a follow-up session on how to use the technology responsibly in a legal practice.

Shawn co-leads the Spencer Fane Cyber | Data | Artificial Intelligence | Emerging Technology Practice Group while serving as Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Plano, Texas, office.
