Loren Mulraine Talks Copyright Law at Fall Legal Conferences

Spencer Fane attorney Loren Mulraine spoke at both the NAD Adventist Attorneys’ Conference and Retreat and the American Bar Association (ABA)’s What’s Next?!?! The Future of Entertainment, Sports, and IP Law in fall 2025.

The September 18-21 NAD Adventist event gathered regional legal professionals in Victoria, British Columbia, for compelling discussions on the latest legal trends and hot topics. Loren led the CLE presentation, Copyright x Church.

Loren also joined the October 23-25 ABA forum in Las Vegas to co-lead the session, Knockoffs & Legal Knockouts: Fashion & E-Commerce Updates, with Francesca Witzburg of ESCA Legal. The team n delved into the complex intersection of intellectual property law and the rise of dupe culture. The program examined real-world case studies involving high-profile brands and influencers, dissected dupe culture, and opined on what constitutes fair use infringement under current IP law.
