Spencer Fane is pleased to collaborate with CLE International for their 32nd Annual New Mexico Water Law Conference on September 11-12 in Santa Fe. In addition to sponsoring the event’s Evening Networking Reception, the firm will be represented by conference speakers Kari Olson, Jeff Wechsler, and Amy Shortridge.
Held at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza, the Water Law Conference offers timely updates on the latest developments and issues in water rights and water quality. Kari and Jeff will kick off both conference days with a morning welcome and overview of the event schedule. On September 12, Amy will lead the ethics session, Ethical Pitfalls of Joint Presentations.
At Spencer Fane, Kari co-leads the firm’s Environmental Law Practice Group while assisting clients with administrative and regulatory matters throughout the state of New Mexico, with an active focus on state and federal environmental law, public utility regulation, and western water law. Jeff serves as Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Santa Fe office and has likewise earned an industrywide reputation as a “leader in the field” of water, environmental, natural resources, and public utility regulation. Amy serves as Spencer Fane deputy general counsel, an integral role in which she addresses professional responsibility policies, ethics, subpoenas, claims assistance, and loss prevention.
